TRACING THE SUN THROUGH THE ZODIAC...
COULD THIS BE THE ORIGIN FOR THE NEW TESTAMENT JESUS? #1
It has been said by many down through history by many scholars that there exists not one piece of legitimate and untampered or unforged historical evidence existing anywhere that which substantiates that the "Jesus Story" originated as the biography of a man named Jesus of Nazareth but rather just the opposite; a host of materials and evidences can be amassed which will prove that the New Testament Jesus Christ is but the personification of the Sun in its path through the Zodiac yearly. This has already been thoroughly covered elsewhere by many other scholars and one only needs to look at our "recommended book list" to see such evidence for himself or herself. Explicit evidence for the existence of a "Historical Jesus Christ" outside of this one book, the Roman New Testament, simply does not exist. If one possesses adequate knowledge of history, comparative religion, gnosticism and solar mythology then a belief in a "Historical Jesus" is beyond all credibility. This does not however mean that the depiction of "Jesus Christ" in the New Testament cannot be of value as a personification of Jewish knowledge for the non-Jewish believer in God. But there is a big difference between believing in a historical personage and a concept of Jewish "spiritual knowledge". I have said for years now that it is truly a shame that the only Jew who ever knocked on my door in brining me the knowledge of the God of the Jews and the Bible was the New Testament Jesus who came knocking on my door dressed like Constantine and spouting idolatry in terms that mimicked orthodoxy. To the uninitiated in the disciplines of history, comparative religion, gnosticism, and solar mythology one cannot helped but deceived and misled when reading the New Testament let alone all of the Bible since it is basically a book full of "Astrotheology" through and through. Well, that is until they read the articles from Bet Emet Ministries that exposes the falsehoods of religion taught in Gentile Christianity today.
In passing let it be quickly said that the basic plot of the "Jesus Story", including the motif of a crucified savior who rose 3 days after his death or crucifixion already existed in many other religions thousands of years prior to the alleged time of the "New Testament Jesus". The Christian Church does not inform its members of this fact neither do the Seminaries of which I am familiar let alone the one I attended. When and if one studies this our for themselves then he will be blessed with the adequate and necessary knowledge of Solar Mythology to see the truth that lies behind the "Jesus Story" from beginning to end. Such adequate and serious study will reveal the "Jesus Story" as nothing more than an allegory for I guess the oldest and most important story that mankind would ever notice or write down since the beginning of time.
Answer for yourself: And what is that? I refer to the annual passage of the Sun through the seasons of the year as it moves through the Sky and Heavens as well as the Equinoxes and Solstices. As we study and become familiar with various "astronomical concepts" we will come to see and understand how the Sun changes positions as it appears to move against the celestial sphere on a yearly basis.
This knowledge has been called by many "the best kept secret of all time" and had it not been for an insatiable appetite for the discovery of the Jewish Roots of the Christian Faith that eventually took me to the study of Egypt and Astronomy I might possibly have never discovered this deception which lies at the bottom of my birth faith (Christianity) myself.
On prior articles in this website I have addressed how the ancients looked at the stars and how in ancient times people were very familiar with the Sun and the stars and constellations. It was in their observations of how the stars moved across the dark sky during the night, and how different constellations are visible at different times of the year as well as the path of the Sun through them which is called the Zodiac that over time they made up stories which were simple allegories based on what they believed they saw. Over time, these stories myths of the movements of the Sun and stars became "alive" and took on a life of their own, as the stories were passed down from generation to generation. What had started out as a simple allegory later became "LITERALIZED" as if it had actually occurred to a real personage and in so doing the the knowledge of what the stories originally represented was lost. People started believing these stories were real and actual histories of events that actually really happened in the past, when originally the stories were nothing more than allegories for what people saw happening in the stars.
I suppose that all who have ever heard of "Heaven" desire to go there when they die. Let us muse for a second on the concept of "Heaven".
The Greek historian Herodotus (500 B.C.E.) stated:
Of all the nations of the world, the Egyptians are the happiest, healthiest and most religious.
It has also been said:
"[Egypt] has become the image of heaven, and what is more, the resting place of heaven and all the forces that are in it. If we should tell the truth; our land has become the temple of the world"
The excellent condition of the Egyptians was attributed to their application of metaphysical realities in their daily life; in other words a total cosmic consciousness.
As above, so below, and as below, so above.
Answer for yourself: What does this mean? Well I could write volumes on this but let it be said simply that what mankind saw and understood as God's message from "above" was to be duplicated and reproduced "below" on this earth. In other words Earth was to be a mirror image of God's abode "above". Thus this spiritual concept helps us understand that the scenes of daily activities, found inside Egyptian tombs, show a strong perpetual correlation between the earth and heavens. The scenes provide graphical representation of all manner of activities: hunting, fishing, agriculture, law courts, and all kinds of arts and crafts. Portraying these daily activities, in the presence of the neteru (gods) or with their assistance, signifies their cosmic correspondence. In Egypt, what we now call religion, was so widely acknowledged that it did not even need a name. For these ancient Egyptians, like Judaism which was to follow in the history of their "children", there was no perceived difference between sacred and mundane. All their knowledge that was based on cosmic consciousness was embedded into their daily practices, which became traditions. In other words they lived out what they saw and understood from examination and scrutiny of the Sky and Heaven since to them it was the abode of God.
Every Egyptian creation text begins with the same basic belief that before the beginning of things, there was a liquidy primeval abyss-everywhere, endless, and without boundaries or directions. Egyptians called this cosmic ocean/watery chaos, Nu/Ny/Nunthe unpolarized state of matter.
Scientists agree with the Ancient Egyptian description of the origin of the universe as being an abyss. Scientists refer to this abyss as neutron soup, where there are neither electrons nor protons, and only neutrons forming one huge extremely dense nucleus. Such chaos, in the pre-creation state, was caused by the compression of matter, i.e. atoms did not exist in their normal states, but were squeezed so closely together, that many atomic nuclei were crowded into a space previously occupied by a single normal atom. Under such conditions, the electrons of these atoms were squeezed out of their orbits and move about freely (a degenerate state).
For the deeply religious people of Egypt, the creation of the universe was not just a physical event (Big Bang) that just happened. It was an orderly event that was pre-planned and executed according to an orderly Divine Law that governs the physical and metaphysical worlds. Egypt understood that this same "Law" of God was to establish God's order "below as it had above".
Egyptian creation texts repeatedly stress the belief of creation by the Word. When nothing existed except the One, he created the universe with his commanding voice. The Egyptian Book of the Coming Forth by Light (wrongly and commonly translated as the Book of the Dead), the oldest written text in the world, states:
I am the Eternal ... I am that which created the Word ... I am the Word ...
In Ancient Egypt, the words of Ra, revealed through Tehuti (equivalent to Hermes or Mercury), became the things and creatures of this world, i.e. the words (meaning sound waves) created the forms in the universe.
We find that in the Book of the Divine Cow (found in the shrines of Tut-Ankh-Amen), Ra creates the heavens and its hosts merely by pronouncing some words whose sound alone evokes the names of things-and these things then appear at his bidding. As its name is pronounced, so the thing comes into being. For the name is a reality, the thing itself. In other words, each particular sound has/is its corresponding form. This sure sounds like the "logos" doctrine we see in Christianity today.
According to the Egyptian philosophy, man is born mortal but contains within himself the seed of the divine. His purpose in this life is to nourish that seed, and his reward, if successful, is eternal life, where he will reunite with his divine origin.
The essence of the Egyptian metaphysical beliefs is that man is created to accomplish a specific role, within the grand cosmic scheme. According to Egyptian traditions, one cannot succeed in earthly life merely by default. One must use his metaphysical faculty (mind symbolized by the heart) and his physical faculty (action symbolized by the tongue). These actions will be in agreement or at variance with natural harmony. If during his/her earthly life, the actions are not harmonious with nature, s/he will reincarnate again to the earthly realm, to try another time. At the end of ones earthly existence, a performance evaluation will determine his/her fate when man's soul is weighed before the judge of the dead and it is at this time one might enter the above of God in "Heaven".
Answer for yourself: So where is this "Heaven" that Egypt spoke of and which has been at the root of almost all later world religions?
Answer for yourself: But more to the point could it be that the story of "Jesus Christ" reflect an allegory that takes place in Heaven and not in Israel? To get this answer to this question we have to study a lot so let us begin.
If you were to ask one hundred people as to where is "Heaven" almost all would tell you that Heaven has always been up. Again this answer echoes what Egypt knew; namely, that Heaven is above since it reveals the abode of God. In a dualistic system then the opposite of Heaven we should expect to be "down". Thus Hell has always been down. We all know that Heaven and Hell are theologically opposites as well as geometrically opposites. It has always been this way and remain so till the end of time. Heaven is above and Hell is below. The ancients understood that when they ventured outside at night and peered above their heads at the stars and the night sky they were literally looking at "Heaven". The first astronomers were in fact astrologers. As an interesting piece of information we find that lacking all scientific knowledge these Ancients interpreted the Sky or Heavens above as a lid or cover on the earth, with the stars as distant holes through which Heaven and God were observed. It was if God and His eyes was watching them from behind a barrier or a dark screen full of "holes". This Sky for them was the home of God; it was His Heaven. From this perspective the Sun appeared to be a small piece of the deity seen through the distant holes.
Answer for yourself: What did they see? Well first of all they saw the same as we do today. They saw stars and cluster of stars which made up all the constellations of the night sky. To them they understood that the constellations were not real but yet "alive". Let me explain.
The first thing you need to know is that constellations are not real! The constellations are totally imaginary things that astronomers, priests, poets, and farmers have made up over the past 10,000 years (and probably even more!). The real purpose for the constellations is to help us tell which stars are which, nothing more. On a really dark night, you can see about 1000 to 1500 stars. Trying to tell which is which is hard. I ought to know having taken up the hobby of Astronomy since my studies in Egypt. The constellations help by breaking up the sky into more manageable fragments. They are used as mnemonics, or memory aids. Around the world, farmers know that for most crops, you plant in the spring and harvest in the fall. But in some regions, like Egypt with its unique geography and climate, there is not much differentiation between the seasons. Since different constellations are visible at different times of the year, Ancient man knew that one could use them to tell what month it is. Some historians suspect that many of the myths associated with the constellations were invented to help the farmers remember them. When they saw certain constellations, they would know it was time to begin the planting or the reaping. This dependence on the sky became a strong part of many cultures and especially Egypt who knew when the Nile was to flood by the rising of the star Sirius (dog star) at a certain time of the year. The rising of the Nile was literally their "salvation" from God since it was the catalyst that brought them God's life and blessings and which ensured their continued survival. When the Egyptians saw Sirius rising just before the Sun they knew it would soon be time for the flooding - inundation - of the Nile River, around which, all Egyptian life was woven. They depended upon the flooding of the Nile for the fertility of their lands. Sirius was a very important star to the ancient Egyptians, who called it the Star of Isis or the Nile Star. About 5,000 years ago, the helical rising of Sirius occurred earlier, around June 25. According to Lockyear, in 3285 B.C.E. Sirius had replaced Draconis as the star marker of the Summer Solstice and the beginning of the Egyptian New Year. Sirius was revered as the Nile Star, or Star of Isis, by the ancient Egyptians. Its annual appearance just before dawn at the Summer Solstice around June 21, heralded the coming rise of the Nile, upon which Egyptian agriculture depended. This helical rising is referred to in many temple inscriptions, where the star is known as the Divine Sepat, identified as the soul of Isis.
I just gave you, the reader, a very important "clue" that will serve us well as our study of the "Jesus Story" continues.
Answer for yourself: What was it? Behind all our myths and legends of "solar godmen" and "goddesses" like Osiris, Isis, Hathor, Horus, Attis, Dionysus, Mithra, and even Jesus is hidden the sacred knowledge of the Ancients who expressed Divine and Metaphysical Concepts of the Soul of Mankind behind celestial imagery and myth. Although the "story" of "so and so" might not be historically real and not an actual historical personage that does not negate the reality and truth which these stories represented. But few know to look for such symbolism of the descent of the Soul in mankind in such stories. I did not until my studies advanced over the years. What we see in the "Jesus Story" is the same thing and as we study more then you will come to see how the "Mythological Christ" is an allegory of the descent, growth, and maturation of the Soul within all of mankind. The great tragedy is that Rome made it appear as if it applied to only one person, that being a "Jesus Christ" of history, when the truth is that it applies to every child of God.
Perhaps there is something about the mystery of the night sky that makes people want to tell stories about the constellations. We know one thing for sure; namely, they did tell stories about these constellations and from these stories and "myths" we find the origin of Religion and Ritual among the ancients. For millennia, people have looked at the Heavens and seen patterns between them, seeing what looks like a bird here, a bull there, a winged horse, a mighty Hunter, a ram/lamb amongst others. These images, when mapped out in the Heavens, have helped men to navigate the seas, as their relative positions to one another have not changed. Eventually, over time, men have put stories to these patterns, and a huge variety of myths have grown of Ancient Gods, who are the founders of the world around us, and many other mystical beings and creatures. The stories especially well known are myths of three of the most influential Ancient civilizations: the Ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Romans.
Answer for yourself: Who gave us the New Testament? Rome. Don't' forget this for this is fundamental to our study as you will see that this Roman book is full of mythology and Astronomy which is later literalized in the person of "Jesus Christ". But this you will see as we learn more but don't forget what I said about Rome.
I don't want to let the "cat out of the bag" so quickly but with study you will come to find that there are many tales, stories, from various religions/myths which connect their religion to the stars. Take for example the Greek names of the constellations and stars for example. But it began long before Greece. We find the use of certain gods in the astro-plane of the Temple of Denderah that exist in Egypt. Many of these Ancient stories taken from the Sky and Heaven above are similar or have been compared to Bible stories by various experts in the field such as Robert Graves as well as many other scholars today. In addition to the Bible tales themselves, the Jews wrote detailed explanations of these stories in later centuries known as midrashes. These details make a deeper or stronger connection between the stories of the Bible and Greek myths etc. We know where the Greek myths are in the sky, because our constellations are named after them. If we were to (and I am actually working backwards on this) superimpose the Bible story into that slot, a strange thing occurs. We find that the ancient Arabic and Hebrew name of the stars of that constellation relate to that Bible story. What is more remarkable is that Bible story line flows in an almost continuous line from constellation to constellation and at times from star to star within the constellation.
Answer for yourself: Is this just a freak coincidence? No!
There are far too many examples for it to be a coincidence or a stretch of imagination. A great legacy has been handed down from ancient times, not carved in stone, but conveyed to future generations through the universal language of pictograph and preserved in the starry constellations of the night sky. The spiritual doctrines and admonitions associated with each constellation were formulated by spiritual giants of the past, and later found their way into ancient mythology, the Bible and other sacred writings.
Answer for yourself: Can we expect to find once our studies progress in these areas that chronologically the "Jesus Story" and the depiction of him in this Roman New Testament (Rome was in Sun worship during the writing and production of the New Testament...don't let us forget this) and his ministry in the New Testament will flow from constellation to constellation as the Sun makes its yearly path throughout the Zodiac? Yes and you have to see it to believe it.
Answer for yourself: Can we expect to find that the "Jesus Story" is but a personification of the Sun through the Zodiac? Yes but we need to wait just a second and learn a little more then when we are better equipped with the necessary knowledge then we will tackle the "Sun of God"; opps I meant to say the personified "Son of God" and see if his life is but a retelling of the path of the Sun through the Zodiac.
It is in such a study when equipped with knowledge of the constellations and the allegories of the Ancients then we will come to see the "Jesus Story" takes place not on earth, but in the starry night sky above.
Answer for yourself: What does Paul have to say on the matter?
Philippians 3 20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
Answer for yourself: Is Paul telling us that the setting for our "Jesus Story" is in Heaven and not on Earth? Yes he is!
We mentioned earlier that Heaven has always been up. Hell has always been down. Heaven and Hell are not just theologically opposite, they are geometrically opposite. Let us not forget that the Bible is an ancient book reflecting ancient ideas held by the writers which has been passed down to us today. The concept of Heaven is merely, what most modern cultures refer to as, the Sky and that the ancients all shared a similar view of the Universe, including the Hebrew people. In ancient Egypt, the sky is depicted here as a personification, the deity Nut (Noot). Notice that she looks remarkably like the "Firmament" and take not of the stars that line her body. She is hovering over her brother and husband Geb (The Earth). Geb was thought to represent the Earth and he is often seen reclining beneath the Sky goddess Nut.
Answer for yourself: What is this firmament?
- The apparent surface of the imaginary sphere on which celestial bodies appear to be projected - WordNet ® 1.6, © 1997 Princeton University.
- The region of the air; the sky or heavens. - Websters Dictionary.
"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. - Genesis 1:26
Answer for yourself: What did the Hebrews who gave us the Hebrew Scriptures and doctrines of Eternal Life mean by the word we call Heaven? Could it have referred to the air? Yes it did.
Let us look at the verse as taken from the Strong's Concordance where the word for "air" is as follows:
8064 shamayim (shaw-mah'-yim); dual of an unused singular shameh (shaw-meh'); from an unused root meaning to be lofty; the sky (as aloft; the dual perhaps alluding to the visible arch in which the clouds move, as well as to the higher ether where the celestial bodies revolve): KJV-- air, X astrologer, heaven (-s).
The Hebrew word for air in this passage is: Shamayim, or should I say it in the world which most are familiar today.....Heaven.
The Strong's Concordance for the word used for "air" in the above passage:
8064 shamayim (shaw-mah'-yim); dual of an unused singular shameh (shaw-meh'); from an unused root meaning to be lofty; the sky (as aloft; the dual perhaps alluding to the visible arch in which the clouds move, as well as to the higher ether where the celestial bodies revolve): KJV-- air, X astrologer, heaven (-s).
Brown-Driver-Briggs Hebrew Lexicon for the word used for "air" in the above passage:
8064 shamayim dual of an unused singular shameh- heaven, heavens, sky
- a) visible heavens, sky
- 1) as abode of the stars
- 2) as the visible universe, the sky, atmosphere, etc.
- b) Heaven (as the abode of God)
The word itself literally means: Sha ("of" or "from") the waters (mayim). Heaven means literally: "From the Waters"!
Gen 1:6 6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. (KJV)
Now let us examine the word for "firmament:
The Strong's Concordance for the word "firmament":
7549 raqiya` (raw-kee'-ah); from 7554; properly, an expanse, i.e. the firmament or (apparently) visible arch of the sky: KJV-- firmament. 7
Brown-Driver-Briggs Hebrew Lexicon for the word "firmament":
549 raqiya`- extended surface (solid), a firmament, an expanse, space
- a) expanse (flat as base, support)
- b) firmament (used of vault of heaven supporting waters above); considered by Hebrews as solid and supporting 'waters' above
So at first glance if we can believe Paul we see that the story of "Jesus Christ" takes place in Heaven which is by definition of the words in the Sky above.
Answer for yourself: Did you catch that? Think on that for a minute or a hour.
But so far this is but circumstantial and we have pages and pages of our New Testaments telling stories of this human being known as Jesus Christ which we have been taught to interpret both "literally" and "historically". So we must continue to study to get to the bottom of this but never let us forget what we just learned; namely, that Heaven is not some place we go when we die but the sky above our heads as interpreted by the writers of the Hebrew Scriptures. We can reinterpret any word or concept, and we have due to Rome's influence, but it does violence to the texts to change the meanings from what the original writers of these texts intended the hearers to understand from them.
This is really important because the next time you go outside at night and look at the sky and the stars I want you to remember and think to yourself that you are maybe for the first time looking at Heaven. Know as well that you are looking at the environment and milieu in which the "Jesus Story" really takes place.
I promised in earlier articles to give the reader "keys" to understanding the "Jesus Story" and this is a big one that we will use throughout this website and it has the potential to change your whole life. This is the secret to the understanding of the New Testament "Jesus Story" but I have not yet convinced all our readers of this fact so we must provide conclusive evidence to prove this to the reader and it is to that we turn our attention and do so with haste. A few closing thoughts are necessary.
Answer for yourself: How long is the "Jesus Story" in the New Testament? Well that depends on whether you read the Synoptic Gospels or the Gospel of John for this disagree.
A careful reading of the Synoptic Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke mention only one celebration of the Passover and the fact that at no point in the earlier narratives was it hinted that even a year had gone by then it appears to the scholar and reader that the ministry of Jesus lasted, at the utmost, a single year. But the Gospel of John tells it different. In John's gospel however, we find that three Passover festivals were mentioned to have occurred during the ministry (John 2:13; 6:4; 11:55) which showed that the author of the Gospel of John thought that Jesus' career lasted three years.
Answer for yourself: So which is right?
Since the Synoptic Gospels deal with the "human Jesus" to the exclusion of the "god-man" of the Gospel of John then we need to focus our attention on this record of a one year ministry for the New Testament Jesus Christ. The contradictory information derived from the gospels concerning the length of the ministry of Jesus Christ only suffices to underline this inadequacy of any certain and accurate knowledge about the supposed historical ministry of Jesus.
Answer for yourself: How long does it take for the Earth to revolve around the Sun or for the Sun to pass through the 12 signs of the Zodiac? It takes one year. Like the planets, the Sun, too, moves around the zodiac, making one complete circuit each year. Every month it covers a different constellation of the zodiac, which is the real reason why those constellations are 12 in number and why we have 12 disciples when early Church Fathers speak only of five. Of course, during each month, a particular constellation lies on the eastern horizon as the Sun rises and it is not seen because the Sky near the Sun at dawn becomes too bright for its stars to be seen (except, very briefly, during a total eclipse of the Sun). But again I hear some say "This is but a coincidence" so we will leave it at that and move on for now not forgetting this 2nd piece of information about Jesus Christ and a possible correlation to the path of the Sun and the "Jesus Story" in the New Testament.
Luke 3:22-23 22 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased. 23 And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli, (KJV)
Before now we would normally always approach a verse like the one above as if "historical-literal" but now we are beginning to see that this is not wise.
Answer for yourself: And where was Heaven again? Oh yes, we just learned that Heaven is actually the Sky.
Answer for yourself: Is there any correlation between Jesus Christ being 30 years of age when beginning his ministry and the Zodiac? And what about this "voice" coming from Heaven and the visible arch in which the clouds move, as well as the higher ether where the celestial bodies revolve? Is this a tip-off that we miss because we have been taught that Heaven is some other place with pearly gates and streets of gold?
Jesus, the personification of the Sun begins his ministry at 30 because the path of the earth around the Sun takes 12 months or should I say the Sun travels through 12 Constellations in a year which again makes a complete "circle". If we divide a perfect circle of 360 degrees by 12 we get what number? We get "30" so the Sun begins is life and ministry, just like Jesus in his one year ministry in the Synoptic Gospels, by moving through 30 degrees of the Sky. The Sun begins it path through the first constellation which represents "30" degrees.
If we divide a circle into twelve equal parts, and place the twelve constellations of the zodiac in order around the circle (the circuit of the sun through the Zodiac), one in each part, we see that each constellation occupies 30 degrees of the circle. The zodiac is divided into twelve equal areas, with each area containing one zodiac constellation. Each area is known as a "house". So when the Sun is in the constellation Capricorn, for example, it may be said, "the Sun is in the house of Capricorn." If we divide a circle into twelve equal parts, one part for each of the signs of the constellations of the Zodiac, and place the twelve constellations of the zodiac in order around the circle, one in each part, we see that each constellation occupies 30 degrees of the circle. The Sun travels about one degree each day. It's not exact, since there are actually 365.2421934 days in a solar year instead of 360. Also the earth's orbit isn't a perfect circle, it's slightly elliptical. The earth travels slightly faster during the winter months when it's slightly closer to the Sun, and it travels slightly slower during the summer months when it's slightly farther from the Sun. In general though, one degree equals about one day. The seasons are primarily caused by the earth's tilt, not by it's varying distance from the Sun.
If we accept the old tradition of the Ancients of having the Sun enter Capricorn on the Winter Solstice, a natural place to start the yearly cycle, then when the Sun has traveled 30 degrees the Sun exits Capricorn and enters Aquarius. And the path goes on and on, 30 degrees for each House of the Zodiac.
Answer for yourself: Why is this of major importance for us and the "Jesus Story" of the New Testament?
Simply because if we reproduce this "allegory" of the Sun's passage through the Zodiac as seen by the Ancients then we can chronologically lay out for the reader the "Jesus Story" of the New Testament and follow it from Matthew chapter 1 through the end of the book and this same "Jesus Story" can be shown to be parallel to the path of the Sun through the Zodiac when it is personified and expressed through allegory as the Ancients were known to do when writing and teaching of their "sungods". Thus an allegorical story of the Sun's annual travels through the Zodiac and the Sky (Heaven) could have this Sun character visiting the Aquarius character at "Age 30". That's actually 30 degrees, or about 30 days, but an allegory could use 30 years instead and that is exactly what we should expect to find in the "Jesus Story" and we do.
All of us should know that the Sun's position changes day by day. Each day at sunset the constellations of the Zodiac slip slowly and progressively below the horizon and returns to the opposite horizon (East) and rises in 6 months. For our example Capricorn (the goat) gets lower and lower until it is completely below the horizon. The Sun appears to travel upwards on its path along an imaginary line through Capricorn towards the next constellation in the Zodiac called Aquarius (the water bearer). This "line" of the path of the Sun and its travels through the sky and the Zodiac is called theecliptic. The planets and the Sun move through the Sky as if traveling a narrow highway in the Sky and this "highway" is called the ecliptic. The Sun continues its path for the rest of the year and in so doing we would observe the Sun travel through all 12 constellations of the Zodiac. These 12 constellations are: Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, and Sagittarius. At the end of the year the Sun completes its journey by arriving back at Capricorn where it started, ready to begin again its annual journey through the 12 constellations all over again. Note that the ecliptic is a closed circuit around the celestial sphere. By observing which constellation the Sun is in you can tell what time of year it is. This is important as I said earlier if you are a farmer. You need to know when to plant the crops and when to reap the harvest. You need to be familiar with the seasons of the year.
For our purposes we need to begin our study with the constellation Capricorn in order to have the correct setting of the Ancients when they composed the "Jesus Story". Very important for us is the fact that the Sun is found in Capricorn on December 22 which is the correct date for "Biblical Times" around the first or second century A.D, when the "Jesus Story" was drafted and written. In so doing we find the Sun appears to travel through Capricorn as the days go by. On December 22 (the Winter Solstice) the Sun is just starting to go through Capricorn. By January 10 the Sun has made its way through most of Capricorn and we see that the zodiac constellation of Aquarius the water bearer is next in line in the path of the Sun.
The Sun begins it's journey at "age 30" by entering Aquarius. In like manner we find that Jesus begins his ministry by visiting John the Baptist, who baptizes (think of Aquarius..the water bearer) with water at 30 as well. Remember we have already seen that Jesus' ministry is said to have lasted one year which is the same length of time for the path of the Sun through the Zodiac.
Answer for yourself: Could it have been that the Gospel of John with a 3 year ministry for Jesus was partly written to cover up and confuse Christianity's critics who were pointing out at that time that the "Jesus Story" is but the repetition of the personification of the path of the Sun through the Zodiac throughout one year?
Answer for yourself: Should we expect a correlation of the Constellation of Aquarius with John the Immerser?
Well it is only beginning as you might get a hint. Let us continue our study of the path of the Sun and the correlations to the "Jesus Story" of the New Testament. If I am right and the evidence I present of the Sun's path through the Zodiac each year, when personified and expressed through allegory, parallels exactly the life of this New Testament supposed "Historical Jesus Christ" as it likewise follows the pattern of the constellations of the Zodiac beginning with Capricorn then it is hoped the reader should expect and know that this "Jesus Story" is not a "historical reality" which is to be believed in a "literal" manner as we have been sadly taught since making this supposed man "God" has caused us to practice idolatry and blasphemy. I will prove to the reader that the life of the New Testament Jesus, when understood as but a personification of the path of the Sun through the Zodiac and expressed in allegorical fashion, flows chronologically through the constellations of Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, and Sagittarius.
It is to such study we now continue to turn in the second article of this series.
